Non-human animals, plants, fungi, and microorganisms help to build the ecology of shared public parks and interstitial urban spaces. With an acknowledgment of the rich and, at times, invisible exchanges between species, artists Marcela Torres and D Rosen will work with participants to create olfactory experiences for both humans and non-human animals in conversation with the local ecology. Pheromone will provide sensorial tools to facilitate interspecies rituals, home-based care practices, and thoughtful collaborations within multi-species ecologies.
